Liana wanted to gift her mom something special, something she has never experienced before. So, she got in touch with me and invited me along on a visit to the Cherry Blossoms in Washington, D.C. to photograph her and her mother. Now for those that don’t already know, it is very difficult to time a trip to the District when the trees are in peak bloom. But guys, the stars aligned, and it was beautiful. Liana and her mother are beautiful, the trees are beautiful, and these memories (most of all) are beautiful.
It was a bit crazy leading up to our session. The Global Health Crisis was creeping in on the U.S. trying to damper our plans. In the end, everyone traveled safely, the weather was ideal, and we all kept our distance. The very next day the Tidal Basin was shut down to visitors.
